- Borrow Direct
Borrow
Direct is a rapid book borrowing and delivery service offered by Princeton
University Library and six partner libraries--Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth,
Penn, and Yale. All Princeton students, faculty, and staff may request books
through Borrow Direct. Material is usually available for pickup within 4 business
days. Items are loaned for 30 days. Renewals are not available and books are
subject to being “recalled”. You may choose to pick up your materials
at Firestone or any branch library circulation desk. You can return Borrow
Direct items to any library’s circulation desk.
You must return Borrow Direct material by the due date.
- Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services
(Article Express)
Requests can be made directly on the web by using the Interlibrary
Services at Princeton University web form. If you fill out your pick-up
point as the Psychology Library, we will be notified of your request. Only for
faculty, students, and staff, of Princeton University. The web form will ask
you for your PUID. Article
Express is for teaching faculty only. Use web form to request materials.
- Acquisition List

- Psychology Library "News and Notes" (a PR publication)
A public relations publication which alerts patrons of the Psychology Library
of any new systems, databases, services, and/or changes in policies and procedures.
Published irregularly as needed.
- Laptops
The Psychology Library has 5 laptops for loan, to be used in the library when
all other workstations are busy. The laptops can be signed out for 4 hours
at a time and can be renewned. THEY DO NOT LEAVE THE LIBRARY. See staff.
- Book Recommendation
Request Form Online (Princeton University only)
Please use this form for recommending new book purchases for the Psychology
Library. Requests can only be accepted from Princeton University faculty, students,
and staff. Please give as much information as possible. You will be contacted
as to the status of your request and alerted when the book arrives in the library.
- Journal Recommendation
Request Form Online (Princeton University only)
Please use this form when suggesting new journal subscriptions for the Psychology
Library. Requests can only be accepted from Princeton University faculty, staff,
and students. Please give as much information as possible. You will be contacted
as to the status/decision of your request, and alerted when the first issue
arrives. All new subscription requests will be reviewed by the Librarian and
the Library Committee.
